Green Office Solutions, Inc. was founded by father and son team Richard and Brendan Primus after seeing industry practices that could be improved. Their hearts were broken by the amount of waste when seeing what went to the landfill, they were turned off by the lack of dedication to the client and the response to issues, constant arguments with management about how a machine failure wasn’t “that big a deal”. The guys felt the only way to deliver what they thought their clients and mother earth should have was to start their own business, and so they did. From humble beginnings of storing machines in Rich’s garage to Brendan printing and cutting out his own business cards, Green Office Solution has emerged as a competitive force in a difficult market. Green Office Solutions, Inc. attributes its success to 2 things;

After serving honorably in the US Navy in the 80s as a Torpedo Technician, Rich entered the electronics industry as the field technician for Telex machines and ultimately graduated to being one of Long Islands top Fax technicians as technology changed. Rich spent 17 years at Toshiba’s largest northeast dealership climbing the ranks from field tech to sitting on the board as Operations Manager, before resigning to pursue his own business. Rich is a dedicated first responder, volunteering as both a firefighter and EMS worker for Center Moriches Fire Dept. He is also a former Commissioner serving 2 terms, and member of the Rapid Intervention Team, an elite squad of firefighters specially trained in critical rescue during the worst conditions. Rich is married to his high school sweetheart for 35 years and has two children. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, visiting his grandchildren, and cooking.
After a brief career in Music, Brendan left college early to enter the technical field, over 13 years he graduated all the way from shop technician to Service Manager of a 20 person company. When the opportunity to move to the Sales Consulting side of the business presented itself, he reluctantly went, with visions of slick-backed hair and fast-talking guys wearing pinky rings as a deterrent. It so turns out, Brendan was pleasantly surprised at how wrong he was, finding his technical knowledge and expertise could deliver solutions to customers that others in his field wouldn’t think of, he has a knack for creative solutions to problems in the office and finds great satisfaction in putting together the project and finding his clients savings. Brendan is married to his wife of 10 years and they have 4 beautiful children. In his free time, he enjoys, hanging out with his family, cooking and rooting for his NY Giants!
